HowManyColorsJnr™

A reactive visual playground that dances to music and touch.

Microphone permission is requested when you start — your audio never leaves your device.

🎨
Thirteen visual styles
Aurora, Tunnel, River, Flock, Swarm, Plasma, Bubbles, Fountain, Terrain, Mosaic, Wisp, Bloom and Play.
🎹
Draw sound with your finger
In Play mode your gesture is the instrument — drag to play a synth, release and it loops back. Four voices: Theremin, Pad, Pluck and Whistle.
🌈
Twelve colour palettes
Rainbow, Aurora, Sunset, Ocean, Neon, Pastel, Fire, and more.
🎙️
Flies to your music
Play a tune and the Wisp chases every note — low notes to the left, high notes to the right.
👆
Touch and tap interactive
Drag to stretch, swirl and scatter. Mobile-first, works on any device.

About the microphone

The playground listens through your device's microphone to make the visuals respond to music or voice. Audio is processed entirely in your browser — nothing is recorded, stored, or sent anywhere. If you prefer, the visuals still work without microphone access; they just stop reacting to sound. Play mode never uses the microphone at all — it makes sound instead of listening, entirely on your device.
